Formed in Wellingborough in 1999, Gutworm exploded onto the local metal scene of Northamptonshire, quickly gaining a strong reputation for their powerful live performances.
After several tours across the country Gutworm ventured to the USA and became the first unsigned British band to perform at the November To Dismember Metalfest in California. The band played alongside seminal acts such as Morbid Angel and Testament and returned soon after to play at the New Jersey Metal Meltdown also featuring big names such as Nile and The Haunted.
With support from Total Rock radio, Terrorizer and Metal Hammer and a strong underground following across the country, Gutworm are set to establish themselves once again as one of the finest metal acts in the UK today.
