Often affectionately known as The legendary Godmother of Japanese Electronica or The lost daughter of Aphex Twin and Bjrk, Coppe (pronounced Co-Pey) has been pioneering her brand of Martian Electronica since turning her back on a successful career as one of Japans first ever MTV VJs and leading radio DJ to establish her own record label, Mango + Sweetrice Records, in 1995.
Since then, Coppe has released over 13 full albums, several 12 EPs and 2 USB collections and has carved a name for her self as one of the most respected figures in the Electronic music genre following various collaborations with the likes of Plaid, Sutekh, Red Snapper, The Orb, Kettel, Shitmat. Nobukazu Takemura and Atom, amongst many others.
