Snafu

Snafu were formed from the ashes of Juicy Lucy & Freedom in 1972 by Bobby Harrison & Micky Moody. The rest of the band were drafted in from the Van Morrison band & Ginger Baker's Airforce. Musically, they resembled Little Feat and the Allman Brothers. After being signed by Richard Branson to Virgin Records and releasing their eponymuously titled debut album in 1973, the band toured with The Doobie Brothers and Emerson, Lake & Palmer.

Their second album "Situation Normal" took a Country Rock direction whereas their third album "All Funked Up" is now regarded as a Funky Rock classic and was played by DJ's in the Acid Jazz scene of the 1990's.
