Makepeace are a trio, all of whom have impeccable musical backgrounds. Comprising of:- KEVIN DEMPSEY who is one of the finest acoustic guitarists on the folk scene today. He also writes songs and has been involved with numerous CD’s as a backing guitarist, vocalist and producer. CAROLYN ROBSON is a superb singer with a wonderful repertoire of songs from both the north east and Scotland. She has sung in a number of harmony groups and runs a number of choirs. She also runs harmony workshops at festivals. PAUL HUTCHINSON is an incredible accordionist, who plays with Paul Sartin in Belshazzars Feast. He originally founded the “Playford Liberation Front” and “Hoover the Dog”., Paul is also a seasoned accordion tutor at both Cecil Sharp House and Halsway Manor
