Metronomy is the Electronic band and project fronted by Brighton's Joseph Mount. Yet to release a record of his own, he has already worked his magic on many hit records, with his notorious remixes for Franz Ferdinand, Lady Sovereign, Ladytron, Sebastien Tellier, Bright Eyes and even U2! Now the Arctic Monkeys have hunted him down to remix them. Meanwhile the forthcoming debut single 'You Could Easily Have Me' is aired every hour as the theme to MTV's new Greenhouse show.. Their sound draws from folktronic artists like Four Tet and is a sea of hypnotic synths, laptop beats, drum machines, bass and hand claps.
