Band Info

You know those obvious bands, where you've heard it all before, seen it all before, and can predict what's coming next? Gauge isn't one of those.

Four slightly dishevelled blokes from Walsall, Gauge have been rocking the Midlands with a fusion of original grunge-inspired Indie-rock since 2005, entertaining crowds with intimate emotive vocals, dirty bass and thunderous guitars. They've built up a deserved reputation for being an outstanding live band, with head-bouncing tunes you'll remember long after your hangover has gone.

These boys play the music they like, and they do it in their own unique and entertaining way. New singer Carl has as much energy as a spider on acid, and his vocals are as emotive as they are melodious. and he wields his maracas like a pro! Craig "lighting fingers" can handle his instruments as well as his booze, and powerful guitar riffs, singing melodies and driving rhythms make grown men cry in appreciation and women throw their pants at him. Well, not quite, but he's working on it! This heady concoction is underpinned by the two original band members, Chris on drums and Mark on Bass. These two interweave sexy bass lines like a musical tapestry and toss the beat between them like two jocks with a baseball.

They've been a bit quiet for a while whilst they've changed direction, singer, and hopefully their underwear, but now armed with a completely new set, Gauge are ready to once again launch themselves upon the world, and the world better be ready!
