Band Info

Animotorso are:

Ben Davidson - guitar/vocals
Rich Brabin - drum kit
Tom Angell - guitar/vocals
Adam Hinks - bass

Animotorso are an alliance of four open-minded, true to their sound individuals. With an established four-year background the band have played around the country – Manchester, Birmingham, ‘The Cavern Club’- Exeter, and Bristol’s Ashton Court Festival, among other venues. Recently the band was invited to be the house band for Kerrang! Radio, “This is the band Kerrang! raved about for their live shows”.(1)

Animotorso’s connection shines through with a sound that blends low-end deep grunge with jazz undertones, to metal riffs releasing folk melodics. “The Guitars weave powerful riffs through thunderous drums and bass, together with a solid vocal, this creates a dark metal … a vacuum for a spectrum of rock influences”. (2)

The band have conquered their sound and have been compelled to further their knowledge into the industry of music, art, and all forms of creativity.

“Animotorso lay down intricate, complex works … they’re tight, obviously well rehearsed and they build their sound with precision and finesse”. (3)

“Raw energy seeps from the speakers as they groove and rock through their contagious works, totally in control”. (4)

“Animotorso: The band to look out for in 2005”. (5)
