Band Info

Baby Astrolab are refusing to write within any particular genre’s format and don’t care if you like it or not. An evening spent listening to music with the band might as easily involve Ween, Saxon, Kool Moe Dee and The Carpenters as it might My Bloody Valentine, Burning Spear, Tom Waits and Sonic Youth. Essentially, as far as they’re concerned it’s all the same style of music, which is one that is written through emotion and a need for self expression. Talking with fans after gigs leave the band with descriptions ranging from punk and metal, through to indie and alternative rock.
