Band Info

There surely cannot be a more misunderstood album in the late '80's as the Lyxz de Luxe classic debut 'Fist full of shit', featuring such classics as 'down on ya knees', 'tired of fuckin with ya', 'I can fuck like rock n roll' and the forever young 'bulldozer love'. This album was toured relentlessly during the mid '90's to public and critical acclaim throughout the western world. However Lyxz found time to compose the follow up to the 'fistfull' the now almost legendary 'load your weapon'. Which also coincided with the almost constant media attention that an album of that stature would warrant leadin to the inevitable intrusion of Lyxz privacy. After many offers Lyxz wedding to the Brazilian (ex lap-dancer) Lolita Delores were published world-wide for an undisclosed sum. It was then that MGM approached Lyxz for the rights to his life that is now known as 'Spinal tap'. Lyxz has always struggled to complete what he started with the mighty 'Fistfull'. Had it not been for those atrocities of 9/11 the world would never have known Lyxz's more political and sensitive side on the acoustic double live album 'keep on rockin in the free world'. But now four years later I think it's fair to say that Lyxz has returned to his best with the new album 'Made in Digbeth', featuring all the live classics and some new tracks like the blues stomper 'wet willin n waitin', 'F.U.B','fuck up a storm' and who could miss the live accapella 'bulldozer love'. Who could say more than that is ROCK N ROLL. Keep on rockin in the free world. Lyxz
