Different Stations are a band based in Stratford Upon Avon made up of four teenagers who live for creating music. In a short amount of time Different Stations have come a long way gigging with many bands and local venues from in and around the midlands such as Coxs Yard, Birmingham Barfly and the Golden cross in Coventry (which has been recently seen on the channel 4 television show 'Rock School'). The band are always expanding a fan base, as each gig is crammed with spiky guitar sounds mixed with rumbling distinct bass lines; that are perfectly complimented by a frantic back beat fronted with cocky, enthusiastic lyrics. It is no wonder that the magic of the band creates an involuntary buzz of their music, that stays in your head for days after listening to them for the first time.
Although being young not only in age but as a band it self, Different Stations have created friendships with many local bands including the newly signed band from Stratford Eight Legs who have recently produced a sound track for the fashion brand Dior In Paris. With the help and support of Eight Legs, (formerly Superheroes), Different Stations have built on a fan base that are eager to follow the band at gigs round the midlands.
Each band member has an extremely different taste in music which helps to contribute towards their truly unique sound that has been described as "the ultimate blend of Indie and Art Rock". They can only be compared with them selves when searching for the suitable 'sound-a-like' band. Although not based on any particular group or artist, Different Stations are easily influenced. Examples of this include; The Libertines, Art Brut, Eight Legs, The Paddingtons and The Smiths.
