Stig -Vocals and Guitar Neil- Lead Guitar Gareth-Bass. Norb-Drums
A 4 piece Rock explosion that packs a punch. Quiet the Thief are everything you want from a punchy, riffy, aggressive rock band.

Twelve months ago an indie band of 10 years ended. 2 members, Stig and Norb were left to carry the torch. Soon enough lead guitarist and football colleague; Neil joined the ranks. Bassist Gareth, a close friend of Stig and DJ joined on the 4 string to create the incredible rock group that is 'Quiet the Thief'.

Rehearsals include: some rehearsing, friendly banter and of course a pint or two to finish. This close friendship these 4 lads retain shines through in their interactive on stage performance.

Quiet the Thief's unique brand of classic, hard hitting, rock has blessed the ears of gig go-ers in and around Stoke on Trent and is supporting a huge growth in to further areas of England.

The stage presence and confidence Quiet the Thief retain on stage makes them the perfect rock package. A rock outfit to get any crowd foot tapping and head banging.

The sound created initially was based on traditional blues and.. They all have very different and broad likes in the musical field but the common ground was in rock, so getting a sound they all enjoyed was at first a challenge. Neil once said you cant have too much distortion. As the months progressed a sound started to appear and it became apparent that there could be something to this, the song were sounding tight and great. The first single Slow Running Train Stayed in th TBFM unsigned charts for 8 weeks and spent 2"weeks at number one. We play our own brand of dirty blues rock built from great riffs and solid melodies and singing solos. Influences as far apart as QOTSA, Green Day, Talking Heads, Placebo, Foo Fighters, Thin Lizzy, ACDC, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins....
