Band Info

Originally the band was formed by Sy, lead vocals and guitar, Dave, bass and vocals, and Jon on drums. The band went under several names before settling on Noble Savage, writing their own songs and practicing regulary at the local studios, the band decided something was missing from there music. They decided they wanted another guitarist to add depth and a little something else to there songs, this is where Laura was found and Noble Savage was born. Noble Savage obtained there unique sound from the range of influences the band members have. Sy is highly influenced by vocalists such as sebastien bach, layne staley and jerry cantrell, which is where he gets his melodic vocal inspiration from. Dave is influenced by Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, this is where dave gets his guitar like bass lines from and the majority of his inspiration. He is also a fan of Skid Row, Metallica, Testament and Dream Theatre. Laura and Sy's guitar greats are Dave Mustaine and Slash. This is where the Metal Riffs mixed with Rocky lead and solos come from that give Noble Savage there style. Jon is a big metallica fan and is highly influenced by Lars Urich, he listens to a wide range of music within the genre and gives Noble Savage a lot of diversity through his widley tasted influences. In the past year since Halloween 2004 where Noble Savage played there first gig as a band, and completed line up they have built themselves a good reputation in redditch and beyond and continue to write new material with a solid set list of there own songs now under there belt!
