“Are King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys one of the hardest working bands in the business?”

Well, having performed nearly 4000 concerts in 23 countries over a 20 year career and also wearing out 6 band buses whilst flying the equivalent of several times around the world the answer is undoubtedly YES!

Their 2006 schedule took them to Norway, Germany, Holland, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Switzerland and France and 2007 shows no sign of abatement with dates already played in Norway and Holland.

During the Ronnie Scott years, King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys were the main attraction at the Broad Street venue, sometimes playing as many as 28 performances in one year. With Ronnie’s now long gone, King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys intend to come out with all guns blazing on return to Birmingham.

“If you have ever heard King Pleasure and his band you will know that they are one of the finest rhythm and blues, jazz jumpin and jive band in the country. A terrific and entertaining live act that you just have to watch as well as listen to.”
Chris Bennion – Rhythm & Booze

“…behind the fun and rollicking good times lies an outfit skilled enough to get four horns to come on with the bite and precision of The Count Basie Band."
The Guardian

“…easily the best Rhythm & Blues Band on the planet!”
Blues & Rhythm Magazine

“The hardest act to follow since the parting of the Red Sea”
Paul Jones – BBC Radio 2

“The aristocrats of Rhythm & Blues".
Now Dig This
