Band Info

Paisley Riot are:
Shane Morley – vocals & rhythm guitar
Paul Holford – guitar & keyboards
Stuart Davis – bass guitar
Rob Palatina – drums

Hailing from Wolverhampton and its surrounds, Paisley Riot formed in late 2004 with a collective aim of creating catchy, energetic and unpretentious guitar driven music that could be enjoyed by everyone. Refusing to be drawn into labelling and pigeonholing, the band set out instilled with the simple philosophy of making ‘music for the people’. Drawing on a wide range of influences, and a wealth of ideas, the band rapidly came up with a set-list full of songs that neatly fused together the creative elements of the band with vitality and energy to give the band an irresistible sound.

Paisley Riot began gigging around the West Midlands early in 2005, working through the ranks from support act to headliners, and have quickly established themselves as a first rate band with a series of riveting performances, which have seen the band grow in confidence and popularity with each outing. The band’s accomplished and invigorating live shows have created a buzz, and gained them an enthusiastic following that is growing gig by gig.
In a short spell, Paisley Riot have received acclaim from critics both local and from further a field, attracting tips for future success, and comparisons in terms of quality to such bands as Kings Of Leon, The Coral, Razorlight, and The Jam.

The band are currently promoting themselves to new listeners, while writing new and even more exciting material, and are planning to record, promote and release their first single later this year. Paisley Riot have a series of high profile local gigs planned, before embarking on a tour of venues across the country in autumn this year and working hard towards gaining further recognition and achieving the success that the band are hungry for.
