Hailing from Birmingham in the UK, Redline are instilled with traditional hard rock values and a background of motorcycle culture which gives their music its distinctive character... raw, direct songs delivering a powerful mix of melody & aggression. Redline's 'King of the Mountain,' released when the band formed in 2006, has already been adopted as the unofficial anthem for The Isle of Man TT Road Races achieving 'A' list radio plays and a high profile on the rock club circuit. In 2007 'No Limits' taken from Redline's forthcoming debut album 'Ignition', was rewarded with an enthusiastic response from rock & bike fans alike, gaining wide airplay at the 60,000 strong TT Centenary celebrations.
Having aired the album by playing at the Carling Academy Birmingham to an enthusiastic response, the band were selected to play at the MCN/Kerrang Live stage at Skegness on October 13th in 2007. The band's performance received a great response from fans and radio/magazine people who were at the 3 day festival. Redline were then also selected to play at the prestigious HARD ROCK HELL festival alongside such great names as UFO, SAXON, GMT, TESLA and TWISTED SISTER. This was a fantastic event and the band's hard rocking set was very well received, and a lot of new fans made. Redline are currently being invited into various festivals for 2009 - see site and press for details. The band are also currently busy writing and recording for the follow up album provisionally called 'Relentless Authority' with brilliant new frontman, Kez Taylor!
