Band Info

Hailing from Minneapolis, the Midnight Evils have been together for around 6 years. In that time, the group has lost a guitar player, Joel, found another one, Vandy, and lost a singer, Jonny, who left after their second record, and first for Estrus Records, Straight 'Til Morning. The band now consists of Curan Folsum on Bass, Stevie Cooper on Lead Guitar, Jesse Tomlinson on drums and Brian Vanderwerf (Vandy) on the other guitar. Curan, Stevie, and Vandy have also taken over the vocal duties since Jonny's departure.
Since the release of Straight 'Til Morning, the boys have been playing shows across the United States and even ventured over to the UK last year to play a series of shows. The legendary, late, great DJ John Peel was playing the record and invited them to record a Peel Session.
