Set in the middle of Great Malvern, The Unicorn Inn is one of the oldest public houses in the country with its history dating back to 1659
A Civic Society blue plaque commemorating the life of C.S.Lewis, who often visited the Unicorn Inn with some of his friends and fellow walkers, has been erected.
C.S. Lewis ( the Chronicles of Narnia), and J.R.R.Tolkein (the hobbit, lord of the rings) regu...larly visited the Malvern Hills to gain inspiration for their writing.
Malvern and its surrounding areas is full of hill walkers, writers poets, and plenty of musicians of all genres, shapes, tones and sounds, and now we are giving people the chance to play in one of the oldest pubs, musicians and beer drinkers alike can relax to live music performances on the weekends in the comfort of The Unicorn.
