A member of Sunderland band The Futureheads, Barry Hyde released solo album "Malody" in 2016.
Barry says of the album: "The album was a long time in the making, the peculiar thing about debuts is that often the artist doesn’t realise that the songs that they are writing will ever become part of an album, the creative seeds gradually grow and suddenly it becomes apparent that a fully formed collection of songs has been born. This was true in this case and also true of the debut of The Futureheads. Perhaps this is why debut albums can have a certain innocent yet powerful energy about them."
Welcome to the NAC (Newhampton Arts Centre), a creative venue in the heart of Wolverhampton that nurtures new talent and new ideas. With a wide range of facilities, it offers opportunities to enjoy and engage in the arts. As a creative hub, it supports thirty resident organisations. The NAC is a registered charity and is accessible and open to everyone.

There are induction loops in the Theatre, Studio 5 and the box office / Reception. There is also an Infra Red Hearing Loop in the Theatre. Children with disabilities and special needs are welcome at all our activities.
