We are a bunch of (mostly) greyheads who have (mostly) spent the last 20 or so years out of the live music scene (and it shows!!!) but are back now without the egos. Our influences are fairly diverse, but we all have a common love of Rhythm and Blues music and Classic rock from the early seventies onwards. People like Hendrix, Clapton, Dr Feelgood , Thin Lizzy, Bad Company, Gary Moore, T Rex, Deep Purple,The Clash, Frank Zappa, The Sweet, Stevie Ray Vaughn and more recently Joe Bonamassa to name a few. We realise we aren't ever going to MAKE IT BIG, but just want to have a laugh- knowing only too well that the joke is usually on us anyway!
This traditional country pub in the city has a warm and cozy atmosphere. We provide a traditional pub menu offering all the nations favourites along with a good selection of real cask ale. So why not come in, sit back and enjoy a pub classic with a relaxing cup of tea or coffee or select a branded drink from our well stocked bar.
