ELEKTRA – BOURNEMOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Sung in German with English surtitles.

Agamemnon the king is dead: murdered by his own wife. Crazy with hatred and horror, their daughter Elektra stalks the palace, brooding on the day when she will take bloody revenge. Richard Strauss’s Elektra turns Greek myth into a shattering psychological thriller, set to music powerful enough to shake the walls. With a world-class cast, this sequel to their 2015 performance of Strauss’s Salomé should be an electrifying showcase for Kirill Karabits and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

This performance has been made possible by the support of the BSO Elektra Syndicate.

This performance will last approx. 100 minutes with no interval.

This performance will be audio described.

Pre-concert Conversation with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra CEO Dougie Scarfe.

Prices: £12.50 - £40 inc. per ticket commission
