A member of Sunderland band The Futureheads, Barry Hyde released solo album "Malody" in 2016.
Barry says of the album: "The album was a long time in the making, the peculiar thing about debuts is that often the artist doesn’t realise that the songs that they are writing will ever become part of an album, the creative seeds gradually grow and suddenly it becomes apparent that a fully formed collection of songs has been born. This was true in this case and also true of the debut of The Futureheads. Perhaps this is why debut albums can have a certain innocent yet powerful energy about them."
