Welcome to The New Inn, based in Newport, Shropshire. We are an award-winning friendly pub that offers a range of amazing cask ales brewed by the Joule's Brewery, who are based just a few miles from us. We also provide a fine selection of locally sourced pub food, lovingly created by our Head Chef, Carl Stephenson & his team. We do not produce fancy, pretentious food, we do good, honest, fresh and homemade food and we like to think that we do it very well. More pub than gastro, but amazing food all the same.

We are very proud to announce that we have been awarded the title of 'Best Telford Restaurant 2015' as voted for by the readers of the Newport & Market Drayton Advertisers and more recently awarded the Shropshire Star Pub of the year for 2016 alongside other awards such as
winning a 'Silver Gilt' award in the Britain in Bloom Awards & have also be included in the CAMRA 'Good Beer Guide 2017.
